What each permission is for and what leaves your computer.

What the extension asks Chrome for, why, and what leaves your computer.

Permissions

scripting Reading the game pages: your village, farm lists, the rally point and the map.
storage Remembering your filters, lists, visited marks, language and sign-in on your computer.
downloads Save to text on the inactive list, and Export CSV on the raid report.
identity Continue with Google: signing in with the Google account your browser uses.
alarms Checking every 10 minutes whether someone is waiting for your approval as a sitter, so the badge can tell you.

Sites it talks to

Site Why
travian.com servers The game itself. The extension reads the pages your browser already loads and adds its buttons there.
inactivesearch.com The inactive finder searches it for inactive villages.
This site Your account, your membership check and payments.

What stays on your computer

These never leave your browser:

  • Your scrape results, visited marks and saved lists.
  • Your raid history, kept in the extension's own local database.
  • The oases collected from the map.
  • Your filters and settings.

Forget history (raid analysis), Clear list (inactive finder) and Clear (oasis search) delete them.

What is sent to us

  • Your email and name, when you create an account.
  • The player name and server of the Travian account you open the extension on, to check its membership.
  • For sitters: your request, the Travian name you enter, and when you last used the owner's membership.

We never see your Travian password, and the extension does nothing in the game on its own: every tab it opens, it opens because you pressed a button.

Note — Payments go through PayPal. We never see your card details.
