Inactive finder

Every filter on the Scrape tab and every control on the Inactive list.

The inactive finder finds inactive villages near you, leaves out the ones already in your farm lists, and opens the rest in batches so you can add them to a farm list.

How a scrape works

When you press Run scrape, the extension:

  1. Detects your server and active village from the open Travian tab.
  2. Reads your farm lists on the rally point's farm list page and collects every village you already raid.
  3. Searches inactivesearch.com with your filters, page after page.
  4. Subtracts the villages you already farm and sorts what is left by distance.
  5. Returns your tab to the page it started on, whatever happened along the way.

Progress is reported step by step (Scanning page 3). Press Stop to cancel a running scrape. When it finishes, the popup switches to the Inactive list tab.

Scrape tab

Search range

Control What it does
Server / Active village Auto-detected from the current Travian tab. Re-detect reads them again.
Max distance Search radius in grid fields around your active village, 0 to 400.
Inactive Match inactive Players (every village of a player who stopped playing) or inactive Villages (single villages that stopped growing).
Inactive for How many days without growth count as inactive: 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.

Population

Control What it does
Pop player Range for the owner's total population.
Pop village Range for the village's own population.
Pop change Range for the daily population change. Negative values mean the village is shrinking.

Exclusions

Control What it does
Hide tribes Romans, Teutons, Gauls, Natars, Egyptians. A filled tribe is hidden from the results.
Hide my villages Keeps your own villages out of the results.
Hide allies Keeps your alliance's villages out.
Show negative pop Includes villages whose population is falling.
Open the raid lists automatically Opens every collapsed farm list so all of them are read. Turning it off is faster, but only lists you already left open are read.

Warning — With automatic opening off, the extension warns you when a list was collapsed and not read. Villages you already farm may then appear in your results.

Reset puts every filter back to its default. Ranges that do not make sense (a minimum above its maximum) are highlighted and the scrape will not start until they are fixed.

Counters

Counter Meaning
New inactives Villages found that are not in your farm lists.
Already farmed Villages left out because they are already in a farm list.
Visited Villages from this list you have already opened.
Scraped When the list was made.

Opening a batch

Control What it does
Batch size How many villages one Go opens, 1 to 500. Default 50.
Start from # Where the next batch starts in the list.
Go Opens the batch in background tabs, so the popup keeps focus. The position then moves on to the next batch by itself.
‹ / › Previous or next batch, a whole batch at a time.
First unopened Jumps to the first village you have not opened yet.
Back to 1 Returns to the top of the list.

The line under the controls tells you how many villages are left after this batch, or that it is the last one.

The table

The table shows each village's name, Coords, Dist (distance) and Pop, 100 rows a page. The page follows your batch, so the rows on screen are always the ones the next Go opens. Every village you have opened is marked visited, so you can stop and come back later, even after closing the browser.

Saving and clearing

Control What it does
Save to text Downloads the list as a text file.
Load from text Reads a saved file back into the list.
Clear list Deletes the list, the visited marks and the counters.

Tip — A practical routine: set Batch size to the number of free slots in a farm list, press Go, add the opened villages to that list, close the tabs, and press Go again.
