Getting started

Install the extension, sign in, detect your account and pick a tool.

Travian Toolbox is a Chrome extension that does the tedious parts of Travian for you: finding farms, checking what your raids bring home, finding oases worth clearing, and pricing upgrades. This page takes you from install to your first result.

What you need

  • Chrome, or a browser built on it (Edge, Brave, Opera).
  • A Travian Legends account on any travian.com server.
  • A Travian Toolbox account (free to create) and a membership for the Travian account you play. A free trial is available; see Accounts & memberships.

Install

The extension is installed from the Download page. Once it is installed, pin it so the icon stays in the toolbar:

  1. Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar.
  2. Find Travian Toolbox and press the pin.

Sign in

Click the Travian Toolbox icon. The first screen asks you to sign in:

Option What it does
Continue with Google Signs in with the Google account your browser is using. No password to remember.
Email and password Signs in with an account made on this site or in the extension.
Sign up Creates a new account with your name, email and password.
Forgot password Emails you a six-digit code to set a new password, without leaving the popup.

You stay signed in until you press Sign out on the Account screen.

Your first detection

The extension works on the Travian tab in front of you, so open your game first:

  1. Open your Travian server in a tab and log in.
  2. Click the Travian Toolbox icon.
  3. At the top of the popup you see your Server and Active village. If they are missing or wrong, press Re-detect.

Your membership is tied to the player name and server detected here, so the extension needs to read both before anything unlocks.

Tip — Open any game page (your village, the map, the rally point) before clicking the icon. A login page or the lobby has no player name to read.

Choosing a tool

The popup opens on Choose a tool:

Inactive search Find inactive villages near you that are not in your farm lists yet, and open them in batches. Inactive finder
Animal search Find oases near you by the beasts on them, their loot and how hard they defend. Oasis / animals search
Raid analysis Read the rally point and see what your raids actually bring home. Raid analysis

All tools takes you back to this picker. The popup remembers the last tool you used and reopens it next time.

Two more tools work inside the game pages themselves, with no popup at all:

  • Upgrade cost: a button on every building page that totals the resources to reach any level. See Building costs.
  • Drag select: hold Shift and drag over checkboxes to tick them all at once. See Drag select.

The status strip

The strip under the header tells you where your membership stands for the account on screen:

Shows Meaning
Active · N days left Your membership covers this account. Every tool works.
Trial · N hours left You are on the free trial. Every tool works until it runs out.
Sitting for {owner} You are sitting someone else's account and they have let you use their membership. See Sitters.
NO PLAN This Travian account has no membership yet.
PENDING You asked for a membership or trial and it is waiting to be activated.
EXPIRED The membership for this account has run out.
OFFLINE The licence server cannot be reached; the extension keeps working for a grace period.
BUSY Too many checks in a short time. Wait a moment.

Your settings follow you

Closing the popup loses nothing. Your filters, your place in a batch, visited marks, the open tool and tab, and the language are all restored the next time you open it.
